Digging Deeper into Social Justice Project
i have decided that my topic will be racism within athletics. I have found that an overall thought through athletics that men are always superior. In my opinion men are superior but not because I am sexist it is simply because men and women are built differently. Men will always be taller bigger and stronger than woman, which usually accumulates to them being more athletic then women. Men will always be viewed superior in the sports world because they bring in the most money in their venues. To be honest mens sports are always more eventful to watch just on the pure fact that men are stronger and more athletic than women could ever be just because of their biological build. I am truly entrigued to find that if my opinion is the same as the truth with sexism in sports today.

Web Building
This week we are working on making our live website that will run through the end of the year. I am one of the cohorts and my job is to basically work for the webmaster. I have to find majority updates and new problems within the world and this social justice class. We hope to explore and notify all people about the problems and unfair treatment of people in other countries that are suffering while we have the luxury of freedom within the United States.

Ism's
We have been exploring isms in class the last two weeks. We have been relating this to all types of social injustice and how it is present within our community. These have allowed us to see what it means to be discriminated against and what people really do. We have looked at organizations such as the NBA and NFL which have multiple examples of underlying discrimination along with the armed forces. These tools allow us to better understand what it means to be politically correct.

Social Justice Topic
For my social justice project I have been trying to decide which topic to choose. I would like to experience the controversy behind the topic of Abortion. I feel that abortion is a neccesary right and I am very pro abortion. Being pro abortion I would hope to explore the side that is pro choice, and pro life and broaden my horizons. This would greater expand the way I think along with how I view the topic of abortion.

Systems
So far this week we have been exploring the court system. We have not dug too deep into the convrsation or what a system really is but we have begon this discussion in order to better understand what social justice really is. Understanding the court system will also help us to truly reveal what is socially just in the world today. We began talkig about social groups such as the KKK and how their policy affects the community and how socially unjust their ideals are.

What Family is
A family to me is a unit that loves. A family is a unit that helps eachother and is not afraid to stand up for the others in their family. A family is a group that can be bound by law but at the same time they dont have to be bound together by anything except maybe the fact that they live together. When I think of family I think of people that care for and love eachother unconditionally.

The Family Concept
This week's CST was in relation with the topic of family. We were to read chapter two in our brown books which contained facts along with assumptions about families in the present day. It started out by talking about how families must be compensated for by the employer of the working guardian, he must be able to pay for his family. This topic was stressed but was not the main point. It then went on to describe the privelages familes recieve. That part turned into the definition and understanding on what it means to be a family. The reading I got said that family was a loving unit to make a long story short. My definition of family is a loving unit that does not have to be biologically bound together, but only brough together through love and support between one another.
